Volkswagen at 2017 North American Auto Show

We are now in auto show season and we couldn’t be more excited! The North American Auto Show took place this week in Detroit and automakers from around the world shared their newest vehicles. One of the brands that really made a statement was none other than Volkswagen. The beloved German automaker introduced us to some pretty awesome new innovations, and we are here to share the highlights.

2018 Volkswagen Atlas

We’ve known about the upcoming Atlas SUV for a while, but Volkswagen brought it along to the 2017 NAAS so the press and visitors could get a better look. The 2018 Volkswagen Atlas is a full size SUV/crossover with three rows of seats, and it was designed with the American family in mind. It is expected to arrive at U.S. dealerships (including ours) later this spring.

2018 Volkswagen Tiguan Debut

The next generation of the Volkswagen Tiguan was unveiled in Detroit to much praise. This beloved model received some major changes including a 10-inch extension, an estimated 57% cargo space increase, and the availability of third-row seating.

Volkswagen I.D. BUZZ Concept

Another vehicle that was unveiled was the Volkswagen I.D. BUZZ concept vehicle. This vehicle is a mix of 1960s/1970s throwback and 21st Century innovation. The microbus can accommodate up to eight passengers, and the seats can be folded down or turned around. It runs on electricity and has a 270-mile driving range. There is no certainty that this model will go into production anytime soon, but it lets us dream big!
