Volkswagen Driving New Year’s Resolutions 2017

2016 is finally coming to an end and we are ready to start 2017 with a new sense of optimism. Like many people, we like to come up with some resolutions for ourselves. While some of these resolutions may be pretty far-reaching, others can be very simple. Here at Walker Volkswagen, we like to keep things simple, but significant. We are excited to share our ideas for some resolutions to help you start your 2017 on the right track.

2017 Resolution #1: I Will Give My Volkswagen Lots of TLC

You invested a nice chunk of change into your new Volkswagen, and you want it to last a long time and be able to take you wherever you need to go. In order to do this, you need to regularly maintain it. Set aside one Saturday afternoon per month and check the fluids and air pressure. For bigger tasks (or if you need a helping hand with the basics), give the Walker Volkswagen service department a call and schedule a service appointment.

2017 Resolution #2: I Will Not Let My Volkswagen Run on Empty

Once your Volkswagen’s fuel gauge hits that quarter-tank mark, it is in your best interest to take the time and fill it up. Allowing your Volkswagen to run on empty can potentially ruin the engine or leave you stranded.

2017 Resolution #3: I Will Wear My Seatbelt While Driving My Volkswagen

Volkswagen vehicles like the 2016 Jetta have earned a reputation for being incredibly safe, but one of the best things that you can do to protect yourself is buckling up before turning on the ignition. Seatbelts have been proven to save countless lives in the event of a collision. And you are setting a good example to your children by teaching them how to stay safe!

Happy New Years From Walker Volkswagen!
